Dr S. Shyam Kumar

Dr S. Shyam Kumar, Consultant ENT, Head & Neck Surgeon graduated from Kasturba Medical College (Manipal University) in the year 2000 with First class honors. He trained under the Late Prof B.Ramamurthi the first Neurosurgeon in India for some time and then joined his Alma mater All India Institute of Medical Sciences, New Delhi in 2002 by securing 21st rank in the national level entrance exam. At AIIMS . He completed his dissertation titled " Long and short term results of Cochlear Implant in Prelingually Deafened Children ". he completed my residency in Otorhinolaryngology, Head & Neck surgery from AIIMS in 2005 and was awarded the " KAMINI CHARITY TRUST PRIZE" for the outgoing post graduate for the year 2005. He continued working at AIIMS in different positions and in 2009. He was awarded the "ORL society travel grant" for research paper 2010 he returned to Chennai and joined Sri Ramachandra University as Assistant professor where he organised a number of courses and conferences in ENT. he have trained in Laser surgery for head and neck cancers at Keil University in Germany under Prof Petra Ambrosch in 2013 he established himself as a full time freelance practioner.
