Dr Mohammed Ibrahim

Dr. Mohammed Ibrahim completed his graduation and post graduation – MS in General Surgery from a prestigious institution in Chennai. His major interest lies in Oncosurgery and Reconstructive Oncoplasty Surgeries and he has excellent exposure in Surgical Oncology. Dr. Mohammed Ibrahim was the first postgraduate to successfully do a neck dissection individually and has the special interest in Laparoscopic surgeries and other Endoscopic procedures. He pursued his MRCS degree from the Royal College of Surgeons, Edinburgh, UK and completed his Diploma from New Delhi. Dr. Mohammad Ibrahim has worked as an Assistant Professor in the Department of General Surgery and continues to attend various General and Oncosurgical cases in Chennai. He has a great exposure in various Surgical Oncology cases and is an expert in head and neck surgeries, thyroid, breast, gastrointestinal, Uro-Gynecological and Musculoskeletal systems and also in various Oncoplasty and Aesthetic plastic reconstruction procedures after cancer surgeries. Dr. Mohammad Ibrahim has 7 gold medals to his credit and has presented various papers, journals and posters in Surgical Oncology at various state, national and international level conferences. Dr. Mohammad Ibrahim is also an active member in various academic bodies including the Association of Surgeons of India (ASI), the Indian Association of Surgical Oncology (IASO), the Association of Colo-Rectal Surgeons of India (ACRSI), the Association of Breast Surgeons of India (ABSI), the Association of Minimal Access Surgeons of India (AMASI), the Royal College of Surgeons, Edinburgh, UK and the Society of Surgical Oncology (SSO), Illinois, US.
