Dr Jaichandran Sundaramurthy

After completing MBBS from Stanley Medical College in 1993 joined Railway hospital Perambur as Senior House Surgeon in General Medicine for one year. From 1994 to 1998 worked in ICMR as Senior Research Fellow in WHO Filariasis Study for 2 years and Nutrition Study of NIN Hyderabad for 2 years. Joined Diploma in Ophthalmology in Stanley Medical College in 1998 and passed out successfully in 2000. Joined the prestigious Sir Ratan Tata Fellow in advanced cataract surgery in 2001 at the world renowned Sankara Nethralaya Chennai. Worked as an ophthalmologist in CSI Kalyani Hospital Chennai for 2 years since 2001 and also in Vishnu Eye Clinic Chennai for 2 years since 2004. Worked as an ophthalmologist in VEE CARE EYE HOSPITAL Chennai since 2011 till 2015. Was a State under 19 and City Schools under 19 cricket player during school days. Played for the Bunts cricket club in the 2nd division also.
