Dr K.P Singh

Dr Singh has served at Sector 16 General Hospital Chandigarh for more than 20 years and retired as the C.M.O. He has the distinction of performing intra ocular implants, secondary intra ocular implants and also microsurgery first time in Chandigarh in any Govt setup. People still remember him there for his everyday OPD of more than 500 patients and an OT list of more than 40 every OT day Distinction of being the first surgeon in North India, in a Govt. setup, to do an Intra-Ocular lens exchange surgery. He is one of the pioneer eye surgeons to start free eye clinics and surgery centres in Chandigarh, he was awarded by the Chandigarh administration for his free and selfless public service and free eye surgeries at sector 21 Gurudwara, Chandigarh.
