Dr. Mayank Vashishtha is a fully trained specialist in Trauma and Orthopaedic Surgery with further super-specialisation in Hand & Wrist/Upper extremity surgery. He has trained at the MGM Medical College, India (MBBS, Gold Medal, 1997-2003) following which he pursued higher specialist training at Glasgow & Leeds in the United Kingdom. After successfully completing MRCS (2004-2008) and FRCS Tr & Orth (2009-2016), he has trained further at the Pulvertaft Hand Unit in Derby (UK, 2016-17), which is one of the world's premier center for hand & wrist surgery. He has widely presented his research both nationally and internationally at various conferences and is well published. Dr. Vashishtha is registered with the Madhya Pradesh & Karnataka Medical Councils, the Medical Council of India & the General Medical Council, UK. He is a member of the British Orthopaedic Association, the British Association of Physicians of Indian Origin, the Royal College of Physicians & Surgeons of Glasgow (Scotland) and the European Wrist Arthroscopy Society. He is a fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons (London). Dr. Mayank Vashishtha's passion for human interaction & communication, and desire to have the close association with India has led him to foster teaching ties for undergraduate & postgraduate medical trainees. He is also closely associated with several charities in India. He provides his services to the United Kingdom National Health Service and consults in Bangalore, India.
