Ms Lidia Fernandez

Completed my M. Clinical Psychology (RCI recognized) with a prior work experience of one year as a Research Assistant at NIMHANS on a pilot project dealing with children with autism, their caregivers and brain imaging. During my two years of training period, I have dealt with children, adolescents and adults, and their varying concerns of mental health that include mood disorders, anxiety disorders, personality disorders and disorders of childhood development. I have a keen interest in family dynamics that play out implicitly and explicitly in the origin and maintenance of mental health issues. The third wave therapies are my areas of strength. Overall, I strive to undertake a holistic understanding of the person as I strongly believe that an individual is an ever-evolving product of multiple factors that operate within and outside of himself/herself.
