Dr Zia S Pradhan

She completed her basic medical education from K.J.Somaiya Medical College, Mumbai. She did her residency in ophthalmology from the Christian Medical College, Vellore, following which she continued working there as a consultant. She then trained in department of Neuro-ophthalmology at the Wills Eye Hospital, Philadelphia and completed a clinical fellowship in glaucoma and anterior segment surgery from the University of Toronto, Canada. She trained in ocular pathology at the Ross Eye Institute, Buffalo, New York before joining Narayana Nethralaya as a glaucoma consultant. Her areas of interest include glaucoma pathogenesis, normal tension glaucoma, ocular hypertension and pseudoexfoliation glaucoma.
