About Dr Varsha Samson Roy

Dr. Varsha Samson Roy is one of the very few qualified embryologists in India. After completing her MD in Obstretics and Gynaecology, she was selected for a degree in Clinical Embryology at the renowned National Universtiy Hospital in Singapore. She has handled more than 900 cases of IVF/ICSI with a success rate of 40% at par with international standards. Apart from clinical embyology, she is also involved with research on embryonic stem cell. Dr. Varsha has pioneered the technique of invitro maturation of oocytes (IVM) in India. She is also a visiting scientist to centers in India and has helped them develop a successful ART programme. She has numerous scientific presentations to her credit and has also contributed chapters in books for reference in infertility work.
