Dr U V U Vamsidhar Reddy

Dr. U V U Vamsidhar Reddy is a Consultant Hepatologist & Gastroenterologist, Liver Transplant Physician Dr. U V U Vamsidhar Reddy completed his MBBS from NTR University, Andhra Pradesh, in 2013. He completed his postgraduate in prestigious medical institutes in India, MD (Internal Medicine) from Jawaharlal Institute of Postgraduate Medical Education and Research (JIPMER), Puducherry, in 2017 and DM (Hepatology) from Postgraduate Institute of Medical Education and Research (PGIMER), Chandigarh, in 2020. He has won four gold medals during his undergraduate days. He has been trained extensively in the post-graduation period in the management of diseases of the liver, pancreas, gallbladder, bile duct and pre/post-operative management of patients who have undergone liver transplantation. He has also been trained in diagnostic and therapeutic upper gastrointestinal and colonoscopy procedures. The main areas of his interest are Cirrhosis, Alcoholic Liver Diseases, Liver Transplantation, Liver Cancer and Pancreatitis. He has an active interest in research work and has presented papers and posters at many conferences around the country and abroad. His work had been appreciated and awarded the Young Investigator Award in APDW for the year 2021. He is also member of American Society of Gastrointestinal Endoscopy (ASGE). Dr. U V U Vamsidhar Reddy is multilingual and is well-versed in Telugu, English, Hindi, Kannada and Tamil.
