Dr Somashekara H R

Dr. Somashekar is a Consultant Paediatric Hepatologist and Gastroenterologist at Narayana Health City, Bangalore. He completed his graduation from Adichunchanagiri Institute of Medical Sciences, Bellur and post-graduation from Christian Medical College, Vellore, where he was awarded the best outgoing student medal. Thereafter, he successfully completed fellowship in paediatric gastroenterology and liver transplantation from Kings College Hospital, London. Before joining NH, he has worked in Birmingham Children Hospital in United Kingdom, one of London's largest and busiest paediatric liver and small bowel transplant centres in the UK. His special areas of interest are liver transplantation and gastrointestinal disorders in children.
