Dr. Rahul S Kanaka, is a consultant Surgical Oncologist at SPARSH Hospitals, Bangalore. Dr. Rahul S kanaka graduated from a reputed college in Gulbarga and did his masters degree in general surgery at prestigious Karnataka Medical college institute in Hubli. He further pursued his MCh in surgical oncology from Adyar cancer institute, Chennai. He completed his Robotic surgery training in Hyderabad and was Robotic Scholar for the year 2016. He is also trained in flap reconstruction and vascular surgery from Amrita institute of medical sciences, Cochin. Dr. Rahul has been academically very sound and was a meritorious student throughout his education. Dr. Rahul has worked as consultant in surgical oncology at KIMS Hospital in Hyderabad and Global hospital Bangalore and now is part of the SPARSH family as Consultant in Surgical Oncology. Dr. Rahul has vast experience in performing meticulous oncological resections like Total peritonectomy with HIPEC, limb sparing surgeries, Whipple’s procedure, Radical Esophgectomy, Radical Gastrectomy, Total Laryngectomy, Craniofacial Resections, Radical Mastectomy, Pelvic Exenterations, Abdomino-Perineal Resections, Lung Resections etc…
