Dr Praveen Venkatagiri

Dr. Praveen Venkatagiri is an eminent Paediatrician and Neonatologist, practising as a Consultant Paediatrician. He has more than a decade of work experience from some of the prestigious hospitals in UK and India. He got his MD in Paediatrics from Manipal Academy of Higher Education (MAHE) and is an alumnus of the Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health in the UK. He is very passionate about developing systems to improve the quality of patient care keeping the patient as the centre focus. He takes special interests in developing interventions in the Antenatal and Prenatal period, which has a significant impact on the health of the newborn. He has contributed profoundly, to several research projects and also keens on training young medical doctors and nurses, to become outstanding professionals in their respective fields. His special interests are high-frequency oscillation ventilation, total body cooling & management of extremely premature infants.
