She completed her basic medical education from Kasturba Medical College (Manipal University), Mangalore in 2009.She completed her post graduation-Diplomate of National Board in Ophthalmology from Narayana Nethralaya Superspeciality Eye Hospital followed by a Fellowship in Orbit, Oculoplasty & Ocular Oncology Services from the same institute. She is a member of Karnataka ophthalmic society, All India ophthalmological society and Oculoplastic Association of India (OPAI).She has presented papers and posters at state, national and international conferences. She is currently working as a consultant in the department of Orbit, Oculoplasty and Oncology at Narayana Nethralaya 1, Rajajinagar.
