Dr Narendra K.P.

He completed his basic medical education from Bangalore Medical College, Bangalore in 2000 and Post Graduation in Ophthalmology (DNB) from National Board of Examinations (New Delhi). He was actively involved in developing a rural charitable eye hospital at Kumta in North Karnataka District. Following which he completed his long term fellowship in Glaucoma at LV Prasad Eye Institute, Hyderabad in 2007. Then, he worked as a consultant in the Department of Cataract and Glaucoma at Chaithanya Eye Hospital, Thiruvananthapuram ( ). Later he joined Narayana Nethralaya in 2009. He is actively involved in teaching and academics. He has presented papers at several national conferences and also has been an invited speaker. His areas of interest include Surgical Glaucoma, Pediatric Glaucoma, Combined Cataract – Glaucoma surgeries, Cataract and Refractive Cataract surgeries. He is currently working as a Consultant in the Department of Glaucoma and Cataract services at Narayana Nethralaya -1, Rajajinagar, Bangalore.
