Dr. Mohan Rao is a senior consultant in Diabetes, Obesity and endocrinology with 20 years of clinical experience which includes 5 years of research experience. He has been trained in India and abroad(USA & Oxford UK).He graduated MBBS and MD (Internal Medicine) from Bangalore Medical college, Bangalore university. He secured distinction and 2nd place for Bangalore university in the subject of biochemistry.He underwent training in endocrinology at M.S.Ramaiah Medical College, Bangalore. Also, underwent advanced training in endocrinology from UTSW Medical center USA and training in Oxford UK. He worked as Consultant in Endocrinology and Diabetics at Manipal Hospital, Fortis Hospital Bangalore and as Senior consultant in Diabetics and Endocrinology at Sagar Hospitals, Sagar Center for Diabetes, Bangalore.Currently he is working as Asst.Professor, Division of Endocrinology & Metabolism at Rajarajeshwari Medical College, Bangalore He is the Medical director and senior consultant Diabetes & Hormone center.He has many publication and reserach work at many national and international journals. He has been involved in many educational activities as a speaker and chairperson at many national and international conferences. He was the secretary of Karnataka Diabetes foundation.
