She has completed MD psychiatry from Bangalore medical college and Post-doctoral fellowship in Neuro-psychiatry from NIMHANS. Her areas of expertise includes adult psychiatric problems, neuropsychiatric conditions , mental health issues in persons with medical disorders, geriatric psychiatry, women’s mental health, and Child/Adolescent psychiatric disorders. She also had training in psychological treatment like Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Behavioural Management etc. She believes in holistic approach to treatment and tailor made treatment to address individual patient’s needs.
