Dr Lakshmi Mahesh is an Oculoplastic Surgeon at Manipal Hospital (Bangalore).Dr Lakshmi is also a Visiting Oculoplastic Surgeon Consultant at Nethradhama Super Speciality Eye Hospital in Jayanagar, Bangalore. Dr Lakshmi is a specialist in Ophthalmic Plastic and Re constructive Surgery.She was the former Director of Orbital and Oculoplastic Surgery Department at Sankara Nethralaya, Chennai and a Visiting Scholar, Chinese University of Hong Kong. Dr Lakshmi was the Former General Secretary of Oculoplastic Society of India and one of the first Ophthalmologists to start Endoscopic Dacryocystorhinostomy (DCR) Surgeries in the country. She won Best free paper session in Lacrimal Surgery at All India Ophthalmological Society(Ahmedabad).Dr Mahesh has accomplsihed and trained in over 15 national and international fellowships in Oculoplastic Surgery in her career. Dr Lakshmi is the member of Oculoplastic Association of India, All India Ophthalmological Society and Karnataka Ophthalmic Society.
