Dr Krishna R Murthy

Dr. Krishna R Murthy is a Consultant Ophthalmologist at Dr. Malathi Manipal Hospital, Bangalore. With special interest in vitreo retina surgeries, Dr. Krishna has, over the course of his career performed several complex vitreo-retinal surgeries using 23 G Accurus vitrectomy system (Alcon), Dorc Harmony vitrectomy machine with wide angle viewing system (Biom) and endocyclophotocoagulation. He has also performed retinopathy of prematurity with ancillary diode laser indirect ophthalmoscope and fundus fluorescein angiography (Carl Zeiss). When it comes to academics, he has penned several publications for peer reviewed journals, presented papers at state, national and international conferences, and also co-authored book chapters. He also shares his immense knowledge in the field of ophthalmology as a Guest Speaker at national and international conferences and seminars.
