Dr Jayanth Reddy

Dr. Jayanth Reddy is a Consultant in Hepatobiliary and Multi-Organ Transplant Surgery associated with the Aster Integrated Liver Care Program at Aster CMI Hospital, Bangalore. He completed his undergraduate training at M.S.Ramaiah Medical College, Bangalore and his surgical residency from Stanley Medical College, Chennai. He obtained his MRCS from the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh and subsequently, he went onto to pursue Magister Chirurgiae (M.Ch) in Surgical Gastroenterology at the reputed Sanjay Gandhi Post Graduate Institute of Medical Sciences ( SGPGI) at Lucknow. Following a brief stint of working at a corporate hospital in Bangalore, he went onto pursue a two year Del Stickel multi-organ abdominal transplant and hepatobiliary surgery fellowship at Duke University Medical Center in the United States. He is a member of the international hepato-pancreatico-biliary association (IHPBA), Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh and the American Society of Transplant Surgeons. Dr. Jayanth’s expertise is complex liver, biliary and pancreatic surgical procedures as well liver, kidney, pancreas and small bowel transplantation. He also has a keen interest and is adept in minimally invasive HPB surgery. Dr Jayanth has an active clinical research interest and has published scientific articles in international journals. He has also co-authored book chapters related to HPB surgery and has numerous abstracts and presentations at both national and international meetings to his credit.
