Dr. HR Ravi is a leading General Surgeon with more than 30 years of surgical experience, handling all aspects of general and laparoscopic surgery. His area of expertise lies in diagnosis and treatment of thyroid, breast, salivary gland diseases, anorectal diseases and trauma care. He takes pride in giving his patients personal and individualized care resulting in successful surgical intervention. Dr. Ravi was formerly a Unit Head (Surgery) at St. Johns Medical College and Hospital where he has gained vast experience both in teaching and surgical work. He is one of the few general surgeons to have started Minimally Invasive Surgery in Bangalore. Apart from being a member of the Association Surgeons of India, Bangalore Surgical Society, Bangalore Gastrointestinal Surgery, Karnataka Trauma Group Association and the Bangalore Gastroenterology Group Dr. Ravi also specializes in procedures like cholecystectomy, appendicectomy and Hernia repair.
