Dr Dhanraj Rao

Dhanraj Rao is Glaucoma Consultant He graduated from the Kasturba Medical College, Manipal in the year 1996 and accomplished the Post Graduate degree in Ophthalmology(MS) from Government Medical College, Mysore. He has obtained his training in Glaucoma from LV Prasad Eye Institute, Hyderabad and had been a faculty in the same Institute after completing the long term Fellowship. He is a former consultant of Lotus Eye care Hospital, Coimbatore where he worked for 3 years and then moved on to Narayana Nethralaya, Bangalore in April 2009. His area of interest in Glaucoma is imaging modalities with special emphasis on Angle closure and Pseudoexfoliation. Apart from the patient care he also indulges in Academic and research related activities in Glaucoma. He has presented various research papers in several National and International conferences. He is currently working as a consultant in Department of Glaucoma at Narayana Nethralaya-1, Rajajinagar, Bangalore.
