His commitment to bringing advanced and expert care to children is clear from the accolades he has received in this field - the Lorimer Dodd - Excellence in Surgical Teaching Award by the University of Sydney for 2 consecutive years. His commitment to his profession caused him to be at the forefront of relief activities, leading a medical team in the Andaman & Nicobar Islands following the Tsunami.
