Dr. Akshay Shetty is an Oral And MaxilloFacial Surgeon /Dentist/oral implantologist in East Bangalore and has an experience of 10 years plus in these fields. He completed BDS from RV Dental College(2002) and MDS - Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery from A.B. Shetty Memorial Institute of Dental Sciences.(2005) He is a member of Indian Society of Oral Implantologist, association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons of India, Institute Of Laser And Aesthetic Medicine, association of facial aestheticians and surgeons of India Some of the services provided by the doctor are Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery, Facial Trauma, Orthognathic And Aesthetic facial surgery and Medicine,TMJ Ankylosis and other disorders,Oral implantology. He has many publications in national and international jounals, presentations in national and international conferences, post graduate guide, examiner for undergraduate and post graduate course in oral and maxillofacial surgery. He has vast experience in managing patients in dental colleges, private dental clinics and corporate dental clinics. He has operated cases in corporate hospitals, general hospital, private hospitals and nursing homes. He is a full time faculty in Rajiv Gandhi Dental College in North Bangalore and is heading the department since December 1st 2015. The private practice hours are restricted to 4pm to 10 pm on wekdays, 2pm to 10 pm on Saturdays and 7 am to 3 pm on Sundays.
