Dr Harsh J Shah is a well known Gastro, liver & pancreatic surgeon in Ahmedabad. He has more than 8 years of experience in treating complex diseases of gastrointestinal tract including cancers. His majority of work involves treatment of complicated & referred cases of gastrointestinal diseases. He is one of the few qualified specialist GI Surgeons in India. He has received training at the best institutes in India. After completing MS (General Surgery) & MCh (GI Surgery) from the prestigious Maulana Azad Medical College, Delhi, he received additional training in Liver surgery & Liver transplant from Sir Gangaram Hospital, Delhi. He was trained in Endoscopy at Baldota Institute of Digestive Sciences, Mumbai. He has been awarded Best Video presentation in laparoscopic liver resections at IHPBA 2014, Mumbai. He is a teaching faculty at ‘Lap Skill’ programme at Matsya Healthcare Academy, Ahmedabad. He has many publications in national & international journals & he has co-authored many books in GI Surgery. He treats illnesses of GI tract by Endoscopic, Laparoscopic & open surgical methods.
