Dr. Dhaval Patel, MD (AIIMS) is young and dynamic Cataract and Refractive Surgeon practicing in Motera, Ahmedabad. After completing his MBBS from Baroda Medical College in 2010, He joined prestigious All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) for his Ophthalmology Residency in 2011. After finishing residency, he started practicing at Centre for Sight, Vadodara in 2014 as Cataract and Refractive Surgeon. His area of expertise includes Cataracts and Complex Anterior Segment Diseases, Refractive Surgeries and Keratoconus. His interest also extends to teaching Cataract Surgery (Phacoemulsification) to the National and International residents, trainees and fellows. He started his private practice as "Sadbhaav Eye and Dental Clinic" in Motera, Ahmedabad in 2017. He is honorary Consultant Eye Surgeon at Kanoria Hospital, Bhat and at Maniben K K Eye Hospital, Saraspur. He is well known for his Post-Graduate study materials known as "I-notes, Ophthalmonics and Ophthalmology Explorer" which are widely available and read as ebooks on internet. He is one of the few ophthalmologist who are AIIMS graduate practicing in Gujarat and the currently the only AIIMS Ophthalmologist practicing in Ahmedabad.
