Dr. Arijit Dutta Chowdhury is a renowned psychiatrist practicing in Kolkata since March 2008. He did his MBBS from Medical College, Calcutta in the year 2000 and then pursued DPM and MD (Psychiatry) from Central Institute of Psychiatry, Ranchi. During his DPM and MD training, he received additional specialty training in child psychiatry and deaddiction units. After completion of his training, He has worked as Consultant Psychiatrist and geriatric psychiatrist in renowned psychiatric institutes in Kolkata. He has published several papers in journals like Indian journal of social psychiatry and Journal of Indian medical association both during his post-graduation training and after starting practice. Right now he is practicing in several clinics in Kolkata. He has special interest and experience in psychosexual disorders in addition to general psychiatry. He is a visiting consultant psychiatrist in Medica Superspecialty Hospital and the chief psychiatrist cum medical director of Kolkata Institute of Psychiatry and Allied Sciences, Kolkata Kolkata. He is also a life member of Indian Medical Association and a life fellow of Indian psychiatric society.
