As an Ayurvedic doctor, I view health not merely as the absence of disease, but as a holistic balance between the body, mind, and spirit. Ayurveda, the ancient system of medicine, guides me in treating individuals by recognizing the unique constitution, or "Prakriti," of each person. My approach is based on the fundamental principles of Ayurveda, such as the balance of the three doshas—Vata, Pitta, and Kapha—which are energies that govern various functions of the body. When a patient comes to me with a health concern, I begin with a thorough assessment. This includes understanding their lifestyle, diet, emotional state, and any physical symptoms they might be experiencing.
