Dr Anusha Shivaswamy is the medical director and chief dermatologist at Skinessence, one of the best skin, hair and nail care clinics in Indiranagar, Bangalore. A dermatologist par excellence, Dr Anusha Shivaswamy has completed her MBBS from the very renowned J S S Medical College, Mysore. She then went on to pursue her career in Dermatology (MD Dermatology, Venereology and Leprosy) at Shri B M Patil Medical College and Research Centre, Bijapur. Her academic journey did not end here. With a keen interest in the field of dermatosurgery, Dr Anusha Shivaswamy completed her fellowship in dermatosurgery (FRGUHS Dermatosurgery), from the very prestigious Bangalore Medical College and Research Centre. It is here that she learnt in the fine art of surgical dermatology under expert guidance. Dr Anusha Shivaswamy has performed various hair transplant surgeries, vitiligo surgeries, acne scar surgery, surgical scar revision, blepharoplasty, sclerotherapy, skin cancer surgery with flap reconstruction, earlobe surgeries and nail surgeries. Her desire for perfection and great surgical skills makes Dr Anusha Shivaswamy stand apart from her peers. ​ With an aim to provide complete dermatological solution to patients, Dr Anusha Shivaswamy has also learnt the skills of aesthetic dermatology techniques. She has also presented papers at various national and state level conferences and has won 1st price in the free paper category at CUTICON-KN 2015. She is also an author of publications at journals.
