Dr. Charuta holds an M.B.B.S. degree from BGS Global Institute of Medical Sciences, Bangalore. She has always had a passion for sexual wellness and has been an advocate for sexual and reproductive health since the beginning of her medical education. She was trained in sexual medicine and has treated hundreds of patients as a sexual medicine expert at one of India's first dedicated sexual health clinics. She is an active member of the health community and has also worked with Apollo Hospitals for a year. She also volunteers at non-profits including Doctors For A Cause and online peer-education platform Sex Education India.
